ilearn... you suck.
I don't know about you all, but I feel that ilearn is not very user friendly. Something about the interface gets me lost and there is not much information on our page. I think a forum is good to have between classmates, peers, etc, but it should be supplemental to the classroom conversation. Although, if we said it already in class, what is the point in saying it again online? It's nice to have something like ilearn (although somehow I like blackboard better) so that we can access course materials at any time, any day, but sometimes its so demanding that you miss an assignment before even knowing that its been assigned. It's like my bank of america online banking. I should, but I don't check my balance everyday... BECAUSE I'M SCARED OF WHAT ITS GONNA TELL ME! I don't check ilearn because I WANT TO and I'M EXCITED TO SEE WHAT'S NEW! I check it because I have to and I need to know what my next assignment is!

Ok . . what is it about the interface? What specific features or missing features of the interface lose you? Indeed, your analogy to checking the "bank balance" is very rich - - especially if we think of teaching/learning along the banking model lines.
